Dow Futures Rise Amid Hopes of a US-China Trade Truce

U.S. stock index futures were higher Thursday morning, amid hopes the world™s two largest economies could soon reach a truce in their protracted trade war.
Around 5:30 a.m. ET, Dow futures indicated a positive open of more than 80 points. Futures on the S&P and Nasdaq were both seen higher.
Market focus is largely attuned to global trade developments, ahead of a closely-watched meeting between President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping over the weekend.
