Nikkei falls as electric component makers hit by Huawei fallout

Nikkei Jepang tergelincir pada Selasa ketika daftar hitam Huawei Technologies Co Ltd di Washington menggerus produsen peralatan telekomunikasi China. Saham Nikkei turun 0,4% menjadi 21.218,62 pada istirahat tengah hari.

Sejak Gedung Putih menambahkan Huawei ke daftar hitam perdagangan pekan lalu, beberapa perusahaan global telah menangguhkan bisnisnya dengan produsen peralatan telekomunikasi terbesar di dunia tersebut.

Sektor mesin listrik jatuh 1,6%, berkinerja buruk di pasar secara keseluruhan. Murata Manufacturing turun 1,7%, TDK Corp anjlok 2,7%, sementara Tokyo Electron dan Taiyo Yuden masing-masing merosot 2,9% dan Hitachi High-Technologies turun 2,4%.

Menurut sekuritas Mizuho, penjualan ke Huawei diperkirakan mencapai sekitar 6-8% pada pemasok ini.

Untuk putaran saham lainnya juga melemah, dengan saham Mitsui OSK Lines turun tajam sebesar 4,4% dan Kawasaki Kisen juga kehilangan 4,1%.(yds)
