Hong Kong stocks extend gains by break

Hong Kong stocks rallied in the morning session Wednesday, building on the previous day's gains as investors were cheered by the latest relatively light tit-for-tat tariffs from China and the US.
The Hang Seng Index jumped 0.97 percent, or 263.48 points, to 27,348.14 by the break.
