stocks fell, following a drop in U.S. equities, the Federal Reserve raised interest rates by a quarter point for the second time this year and upgraded its median forecast to four total increases this year.
The MSCI Asia Pacific Index declined 0.9 percent to 173.19 as of 4:52 p.m. in Hong Kong. Chinese equities slipped as the nation™s economic data for Maymissed analyst forecasts and as its trade conflict with the U.S. escalated. South Korea stocks tumbled as the market reopened after a holiday. Indonesia markets are shut, while Malaysian stock trading closed at the midday break for the Eid holidays.
