Trump Meets Zelensky Amid Impeachment Investigation
Thursday, 26 September 2019 11:02 WIB | GLOBAL |Global

US President Donald Trump met on Wednesday (25/9) in New York with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the middle of the report Trump asked Zelensky to discuss presidential candidate Joe Biden about his replacement working for the Ukrainian natural gas company.

The telephone conversation between Trump and Zelensky has now become a center of verification in the impeachment process announced by American House Speaker Nancy Pelosi from the Democratic party.

Trump accepted the issue of former vice president Biden and his son being discussed in a conversation with Zelensky, but he insisted in not winning the Ukrainian president at all.

Trump also said that he had to ask staff for help to return a 400 million dollar aid fund to Ukraine just days before a telephone conversation. Phone conversation notes that show Trump mentioned Biden's name several times.

"You will see that the conversation is very friendly and appropriate. There is no pressure, and unlike Joe Biden and his son, there is no promise of imbalance! This is the continuation of the most faulty search (witch hunt) in history! "Trump said via Twitter before it was published.
