Oil Poised for Weekly Gain on Trade Deal Optimism And OPEC+ Cuts

Oil is poised for a second weekly advance on growing optimism over a trade deal between the U.S. and China as investors assessed the OPEC+ coalition's output cuts against surging American supply.

WTI for April delivery trades at $56.91/bbl on Nymex, down 5c, at 9:13am in Tokyo. Contract -20c to $56.96 on Thursday.

April Brent fell 1c to $67.07/bbl on ICE Futures Europe exchange Thursday. Brent ended session at $10.11 premium to WTI for the same month.
