Gold steady as silver heads for lowest close since January 2016.
Bullion for immediate delivery -0.1% to $1,196.95/oz by 9am in Singapore after +0.2% Weds; Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index -0.1%. U.S. rate hikes amid low inflation to keep gold under pressure, S&P Global Ratings says in report, which sees flat prices through 2020
In other precious metals, Silver -0.1% to $14.1329/oz, Platinum flat at $791.62/oz and Palladium +0.2% at $977.02/oz.
