Gold drops a third day after U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin hints at a truce with China on trade, and as tensions on the Korean peninsular ease, damping demand for haven assets.
Bullion for immediate delivery -0.1% to $1,334.32/oz at 1:03pm in Singapore: Bloomberg generic pricing; -0.7% last week. Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index +0.1% after +0.9% last week.
In other precious metals, Silver -0.3% to $17.0767/oz, Platinum +0.1% to $927.55/oz and Palladium +0.3% to $1,033.20/oz.
