Japan™s stock benchmark Nikkei advanced to a new three-month high on Wednesday as a rapidly weakening yen and investor fear of missing out a rally boosted automakers and other cyclical sectors.

The economic activity in the US' manufacturing sector contracted at a softer pace in May than it did in April with the ISM's Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) improving to 43.1 from 41.5.
This reading came in slightly worse than the market expectation of 43.6.

Oil rose on Wednesday to a near three-month high amid optimism that major producers will extend production cuts as the world recovers from the coronavirus pandemic.
Brent crude was up 22 cents, or 0.6%, at $39.79, by 0003 GMT, the highest since March 6, having gained 3.3% on Tuesday.
